WHO WE ARE
>SUM is a social movement for those who want to effect positive change in our communities and in the World. We see greater division than ever before; we see that our culture is moving away from health, togetherness, tolerance and connectedness - with each other, and with the World we live in.
We give a voice to the many quiet people who want to see our communities and society thrive. We believe in togetherness, and in the power of many, creating change from the bottom up through simple collective action.
We are everyday people, with a vision to create a better World. Individually, we feel helpless against the big problems. But together, we aim to tackle these big issues in small ways, creating a movement for positive social change - change that is greater than the SUM of us.

CONNECTEDNESS: We stand for our shared humanity, promoting tolerance and compassion above all else. We believe in connecting face to face with those around us. We believe in building meaningful, positive communities to reduce social isolation and to promote togetherness.
SUSTAINABILITY: We believe in living and operating in a way that respects and sustains our environment, so that we can pass a healthy environment on to the generations who come after us.
HEALTH: We believe in a way of being that enhances our quality of life: this includes the creation of opportunities to access good quality healthy food, and the promotion of opportunities to move & exercise more.
WHAT WE DO

We bring simple ideas together to enable change-makers to lead and promote positive change centred around our values in their community. We do this by raising awareness of current projects and initiatives across the country, highlighting opportunities for people to get involved or to replicate these ideas within their own communities.

We provide a forum for both new and existing ideas and actions; a common place for change-makers to come together within their communities and to discuss how to drive meaningful change in a way that is relevant to them.

Above all, we provide a voice, identification and sense of shared purpose for the many people who quietly share our values and who wish to see their community, our society, and a World which is united and working for the greater good, collaboratively.
